I believe his defensive philosophy revolves mostly around stopping the other teams offense from scoring any points. Hope that helps

3-4 base, multiple fronts, brick wall against the run, exotic backend looks. In short, it'd be right up there with Venables as one of the best hires ever if we could get him.

Also a Rex Ryan disciple so think of some of those great Ravens defenses.

I like it. Jeremiah should be an excellent fit. Anything as long as we get back to the basics and get the guys trained up.

I agree. I think he disguises coverages really well too. I’d be totally down with him coming in no doubt. He will def bring much needed pressure on opposing QBs we haven’t had.

Play a lot of guys. If someone gets the hot hand or has a good skillset to stop the opponent, pull em and sit em down and get someone else in there.
Study film on opponent. Identify their strengths and tendencies. Then, prepare the team as if you are playing Furman.
Get the ball run down your throat starting in quarter one. Do not make any adjustment and hope that just stops and then act surprised at the end of the game.
Oh wait….you said Leonard. My bad - was thinking about another DC.

A 3-4 base defense with multiple fronts, strong against the rush with creative looks on the back end.
