So Florida released Jaden Rashada from his LOI...

I wonder who will be the next school to pay for this kids commitment/signature (Miami, LSU, A&M or some other school)? Of course, if Rashada is still looking for a really large NIL deal and a big pay day, and clearly that is the case, that will certainly reduce the number of schools interested.

Colorado AD was moaning about having to scuffle just to come up with Neon Deion's $4 Mil yearly salary, and now all of a sudden all these high profile recruits are getting on the plane to Beefalo Land? Maybe some big time undeclared Colorado Rocky Mountain High income is being used to finance all this sudden wealth of recruiting riches?

This just keeps getting better. Maybe he'll end up at Colorado.

But it’s his son and we all know nepotism doesn’t work.

more light on the wild west nature of the current situation. A shame that a family's greed has cost this young man.

How has it “cost this young man”? He’ll likely get a multimillion dollar NIL deal at another school?

Cost his reputation. Now his family looks like they're in it for the money and that has appeared to cost the kid. Believe it or not, there are other costs in life - reputation you can't get back.

Three things are certain: 1. He will sign with a school. 2. He will get some kind of significant NIL deal. 3. He will not sign with Clemson (and that is a good thing).

All of these NIL deals aren't backed by some contract...

its basically a promise or an estimate of what is possible. After a year or so of this we are beginning to see that the expected deals and payments aren't producing like they expected. Schools are begging for collective participation and those at the forefront initially (like UTenn) found out that membership is much lower than they anticipated. Big donors at most schools have stepped up to drop large chunks in the pot to get the ball rolling but many will not do that long term. They need the "collective" of the fan base to step up and commit to annual payments.
The market will eventually correct itself, but until then we will see more "false promises' from the players perspective and the revolving door of kids looking for money elsewhere that doesn't really exist (at least not like they think it will).

I don't see how Florida could have done anything else. They either have to come up with the 13 million - or release him from their (two-way) agreement.
Plus, this guy could turn into poison if he was allowed into the program.

someone offered him money to sign..they agreed then the money was never deposited..if you are going to go that rout then follow through on your end..cant say i blame him..him being offered that much to sign isnt the issue..the issue is a deal was reached and one party didnt follow through.
