Like GT under Johnson as far as the run game. Just with a different spin. Superior defensive line play will beat it almost every time. Wake has rushed for 64, 36 and 37 yards against us the last 3 games.

The difference from GT is rarely did GT have a QB and receiver that were genuine threats, particularly when the 4 up front could destroy the option, leaving 7 to clean up whatever was left.

I seem to recall their adjustment last year because of the: 64 and 36 yards against us was to "fake the mesh and use quick game when we crowded the L.O.S".

What will the adjustment to that adjustment be? My guess is they have asked their guards starting with the end of last season to get strong as Hades and the center too. Keep the middle of the field clean as we walk it up and make the defense commit defenders to the box.

The eye discipline by the secondary is also key! They absolutely cannot be caught sneaking too long of a peak in the backfield. Can't happen; as they are looking for you to do that.

Dominate the line of scrimmage and play tight man and we'll beat Wake fairly easy as long as the offense can come alive enough.
