Social Security Age Achieved Today

Born in 1962 and turned 62 today! Applying for Social Security was easier than applying for any job I have every had!! It is good to be an "Old" TigerGirl!!

Congratulations. I just turned 63 this past Monday and retired 9/1/24. Go Tigers !

Class of ‘71. Went through “rat season” and glad I did.

For taking it before it matured? It’s a lot. If you think you will live past 80 or so( depending on your life expectancy) it’s better to wait.

Am still working (part time it seems) at 76 and HAD to wait until 66 to start due to income at 62. But get it while you can if no longer working.
