'Woke' at this point means being willfully blind by a set of "morals" that seem to be created in leftist white wealthy communities who feel the need to proselytize their beliefs upon others.
The way it affects me in my city is it's frowned upon to talk about the demographic nature of violent crime around me. It wouldn't be woke. When people feel they aren't supposed to even talk about the problem, then it's kind of hard to actually fix it. Maybe if we reduce our police force more, that will fix it.
Not that I think Trump was a good solution, but Trump gained traction with black urban voters because of this. Or maybe I should say Democrats lost some traction with this demographic over the past 5 or so years because of policy and rhetoric.

That we do to this definition of "woke"? From my perspective, there seems to be a far greater effort and far greater success in forcing oppressive and archaic Biblical beliefs through legislation and influence on the populous than any "woke" or LGBTQ effort.
I know several LGBTQ people, and they really just want to be left alone and recognized as human beings. But when I encounter an evangelical, their end game is far more sinister.

He's unapologetically, and I would say, intentionally hyper-devisive.
What I'm talking about has nothing to do with policy and ideology, and everything to do with his approach to governing and leading. He's perfect as a partisan bullhorn who goes to war for "his people" and says "#### everybody else, they're disgusting people". But if you happen to be one of those disgusting people who happens to disagree, you get zero consideration, and all you get is the finger. Instead of unifying, his whole method relies on division from which flows his source of power. That's it. That's great in a war or a football game where there are two sides fighting each other (and yes, I know everybody fancies themselves as ideological warriors who are fighting for the very soul of our country - LOL!) but that sucks as a real leader who must lead a huge number of people with wildly diverse opinions and problems. Unfortunately, everybody needs a boogeyman, and here we are.
Sure, policy and ideology is critical, but Trump could still advance a lot of his agenda, if he wanted to, without TRIGGERING half of the country. People who don't see that as a huge problem are just playing right into his hands and are making things worse.

Pronouns and gay folks aren’t something that can be regulated by the feds. DEI crap is no substitute for anti-discrimination laws, which are neither woke or uniquely liberal. Maggers whining about woke is pathetic as it comes when we have a federal government that is spending like crazy, deploying troops in American cities, and taxing the phukk out of all of us with these tariffs. Tariffs are not a conservative economic idea, it’s a tool the administration is using to transfer more wealth into corporate coffers and into the super wealthy’s bank accounts. Instead of debating the morality of "woke," I want you to consider why there is no clear definition of "woke." What might be the purpose of broadly and vaguely labeling things as "woke" and then telling you to be upset at them?
Who is pushing and labeling things as "woke?"
What politics or politician do they support?
Why might they use "woke" to support their politics or a politician? (What is their goal?)

Woke is just a concept and we know it when see it. It's constantly changing and evolving, because there is always some new blullshyt from woke people. The masses see it. The woke people are oblivious. It is real though and it costs votes and allows things like MAGA to exist sadly.

Very true. Dems gave them an opening and now they are running with it. We have to make sure we don't give them ammunition. I am not sure that is possible though, because now all we need is one Dem to say something ridiculous and it's as if that is what the entire party believes.

I have no problem with people making larger salaries, especially based on merit. I was more talking about the gigamillionaires and Billionaires that have rigged the system in their favor.

I got you. I just hear people talk about income inequality, and I think isn't everyone who tries to gain skills in their occupation trying to create income inequality. I think what you are talking about is something almost akin to a type of economic feudalism.
