I Have Accepted The Portal and NIL...Absolutely Hate Tampering Effect

Truly surprised the NCAA hasn't made an severe example out of an offender yet. If the NCAA (worthless as they are) announced ALL de-commits would be investigated and any evidence of tampering would result in a post-season ban as a minimum if caught in the same year or a post-season ban and loss of 20 scholarships if caught later, maybe the portal would be more functional.

...will put them right back in federal court. Every other entity in the USA has the right to recruit from other companies or other government agencies.
That is a very strong argument for the athletes rights to unrestricted transfers regardless of how they happen.

From the elements of style: “never use a $5 word when a .50¢ word will suffice,” (EB White). Perhaps the best advice I received in college on how to become a published writer.
I get his argument wasn’t based in any logical thought. I also get your response was 100% correct. The ncaa is terrified of challenging anything to do with the portal. We are doomed. Football is just going to be different from now on.

How do you figure the NCAA would be told rules against tampering would be illegal? The NFL, NBA, MLB all have rules in place restricting tampering and have punitive measures in place to keep it from happening. The NCAA can have its rules. The governement rightly ruled the NCAA could not restrict a student athelete from earning money from NIL. But they alsi did not say the NCAA could not put rules in place to govern it either. Tampering is not a part of NIL. It is two seperate issues.

Dabo made it perfectly clear why we weren't getting top portal prospects.

He refuses to talk money until the kids are on campus. Top players seem more interested in money than school.

That's all that most of them are interested in..show me the money, what education? When you separate yourself from society in most areas...higher aspirations are a joke...they will all play in the NFL or become the best Crack dealer in Ft.Lauderdale! Those are dreams! Better figure it out before it's too late...Dabo still tries!

Tell all of us what % go to the NFL with a contract, what % graduate in 5 years...of those who enter college programs what % ever graduate? What happens to the dropouts? You may have no dilemma because you don't believe in student athletes...Christian Wilkins and Hunter Renfrow both had masters degrees before they left...Wilkins put it well when he said NFL means not for long! Society has a dilemma but you don't see a problem...not to worry!
