So who does 'Bama pull for in the Natty??

One of their big Rivals, who is also in their conference? ---OR--- One of their big Nemesis', who have proven to be their kryptonite?
I can't decide for them, but I believe I would lean to the conference allegiance.

I live in Birmingham and all my Bama friends are cheering for LSU. I’ve seen their attitude change from thinking we’re cute to saying they respect us (and will take Dabo after Saban retires) to hating us and actively cheering against us.

I'll go with LSU, because Clemson winning would undeniable make us the nation's premier program (although I think it's already happened)

I think they actually pull for us, for several reasons.

1) Saban and Dabo are friends.
2) They hate LSU.
3) Dabo has those Alabama connections going all the way back to college.
So, they will likely be saying "Roll Orange Tigers!"

I’m thinking LSU, because they can advance the SEC cause this year, but are likely to return to their traditional place after Burrow is gone

They, for the most part, SEC first. I witnessed this firsthand in New Orleans two years ago at a bar before our game with them. Georgia was playing Oklahoma and they cheered every time the Bulldogs scored. I finally asked them why and all they could say was SEC.It is almost cultish!

Correct. These weirdos always pull for the SEC team, even when against their best interests.

Clemson has beaten Alabama 2 times in 3 years for the natty. They are very sore about that. We represent a rival to them more than LSU, who they have dominated (except for this year). We are a challenge to their legacy!
My guess is Bama fans believe SEC normalcy will return next season, especially with Burrow moving on.
IMO, it is not even debatable the majority of their fans want LSU to blow us out. Conference loyalty has nothing to do with it. When Cam led Auburn to the title, Bama fans were NOT happy.
