That might interdast you….
Greeks have perfected the art of saying Thank You. The level of politeness everywhere we went was hard to believe. Yeah, I know they value tourism $$$, but nothing was fake about their appreciation. It’s a shame this phenomena has fallen to all time lows here in the US esp in restaurants. Training of staff must be rigorous in Greece.
Probably could count on one hand the number of auto horns blown during our travels in towns. Streets are very narrow, but never saw a scraped rear view mirro much less a collision.
Small cafes out of the busiest areas had outstanding food that cost half that of the trendy places. Not really surprising, and we regret not trying more of them.
Got TRDJ - the boat captain messed up the centigrade to Celsius calculation. The water I jumped into was 63F.
Was informed by the Athens hotel manager by email that the persons that were so rude to their rooftop bar staff were actually Lumbee indians, not Koreans….this somewhat explains their love of over easy fried eggs, I’m told.
