He's addressing pro football fans. It's not like he's addressing folks who love him for his efforts or appreciate his dedication to 'their,' team. They are all blown about by every wind. That's one of the reasons I don't follow or talk pro football. Their fans are worse than SEC homers.
In the end Sammy will heal and get another phenomenal touch down pass and they'll forget all this and 'love,' him again.

I think this is pretty accurate.
Most NFL fans - or the types who take the time to insult players on social media, anyway - are garbage. It amazes me how you never see any CPAs, JDs or schoolteachers talking trash to pro athletes. It's normally someone who has proudly listed their latest part-time employment at Gamestop or the local carwash who feel entitled to tell the pro athletes like it is.
Although his post was ill-advised in general, definitely willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on who he was addressing based on my experience reading NFL.com articles.

Its only old news if your on message boards all day everyday I did not see this story one time on the local news and it wasn't brought up during the debate or the world series so it wasnt old news to me hence the comment maybe if i take out the punctuation you will like the simple but obvious comment why bite the hand that feeds you have a good day trolling the message boards
