How would malwarebytes know if your data were in this Ticketmaster hack? Did they pay the $500k to buy the data? Or are they just fishing for valid email addresses (please use the email address you most often use)

for Malwarebytes. I have yet to receive Malwarebytes spam or newsletters at the one I use for Ticketmaster. And, I set up my Malwarebytes email address to only receive weekly updates which was easy to do.
BTW, I have six email addresses with six different passwords.

Tiger swimmer remember it is Ticketmaster it starts at 500k but with all the fees it winds up at 1.5million dollars

The data usually gets put on the dark web. There are people/organizations company's can pay to scrub the dark web and retrieve the contents of the data and sometimes the data itself even though it's already been released
