and the NCAA deserve. And quite honestly, our society as a whole. This game is embarrassing. I won’t say unfair, because FSU is laying in the bed they made. BUT, college football is now free agency with no rules. The donors from the early 80’s at SMU gotta be like “Hey, wait what?”
At least the NFL has structure. Can’t just switch schools, quit, leave, transfer, etc.
This greed is damaging and will need a fix, or some guidelines. But we won’t see it. It stinks. I miss college athletics, and this ain’t it.
Heck, the top article on TNET is a story about our PUNTER coming back … like was that a point of worry?
I’m really thankful for Dabo. Morals are important. Winning is too. But wow what a blessing. We Tigers have been super fortunate.
I digress. Looking forward to the rest of the basketball season and the upcoming baseball season. Happy New Year to you all.

Not sure what you are talking about? Everything he stated is true. The NFL would be a mess with this system which is why they but rules in place.
Until they get some rules in place that fix this stuff I am just watching Clemson games. And this is from someone who was a diehard CFB fan. Now I don’t even care to watch the pre-spring game games. And I have not watched a CFP since Clemson was last in it. They will start losing interest in the current state.

This is a system the NCAA and schools have been duplicit in creating since 1984. Amateur sports really became semi-professional sports. Big problem is that all schools can't afford to be competitive. If a school does not have TV money, boosters, NIL, etc. they will not be competitive. Rutgers will get $70M or more in the Big 10! Rutgers was losing money in the Big East and after upgrading its facilities. MD and Rutgers got bailed out by Big 10. Now FSU and Clemson are looking for a rich uncle conference! But Big 10 prefers AAU members, which FSU and Clemson are not. UNC I believe is.

Valley Coot says nothing is wrong with college football and we should just enjoy it. Guess he is enjoying this shizz show with what could have been a great game before the injury and all the bail outs.
