There are a number of possible scenarios. I will say it seems disrespectful to DJ that you latched on to this one. DJ did not play well last year. It’s obvious he has worked his tail off and kept his head up. He has carried himself with with dignity even in the face of his own fan base throwing him under the bus so why not cut him some slack as the season will play out how it’s suppose to play out

Spot on Johnstone. BEST case would be for DJ to ball out and go into 3rd or 4th quarter with a huge lead and allow Cade to come in for quality reps. DJ shuts up the negative noise and Cade has the experience to lead us next year for another run to the playoffs. With our defense I can see great potential for this to play out. Keep starters healthy with rotation and it’s a WIN WIN.....GO TIGERS

I made no qualitative statement about DJ, just stated the facts, that the last time we had this situation, we won the natty.
I hope we go wire to wire and he puts up heisman #'s.

I hope that if DJ can't do his job in a way that the team can when championships like we've done before DJ became the starter. I hope that Dabo will pull DJ the moment his play shows that it hasn't changed from last season, and put whoever he believes is ready to lead the team back to greatness. But I'm hoping that DJ has regained his confidence, and he can go out on the field and play championship FB, and that will be best for everyone on the team, and it will give Cade the time he needs to get stronger and grow into the starting QB position!!!
