I'll start ...
Bobby Williamson ... as soon as he moved over to D-line, it was like a switch was flipped.

Seems like I remember it being mostly over a girlfriend but he did throw Tommy under the bus for not being more supportive.

Gee, how about a little sensitivity, please...

He had gone through a lot with the coaching change, demotion from starter because TB and RR didn't think he'd be a good enough RB for the spread (he was a power runner), plus some off field issues including the death of his older brother Sean from a heart condition a few years earlier who he was really close to and looked up to. He's working at a school now and helping kids

Thanks for the update. It was a sad situation and one that shed some light, for me, on the "business" side of football - thought a little less of Tommy after the incident and a little less of college football in general. Amazing how little we really care about people at times. I remember watching him play in some HS games and his running ability was stellar and a seemingly sure star in college. It's hard to imagine the high and lows of being a sports star. Hope things turn out well for him.

That's a name I haven't heard in awhile. Back in 91' I had just graduated college and was managing a restaurant in Clemson. During that time I had the pleasure of meeting a lot the Clemson athletes and coaches. One day Arthur Bussie walks in.....good grief maybe it was a bad day but the guy acted like he wanted to throw me through a wall for politely asking how everything was. Very intimidating guy. LOL.

Dude spent some time at our apartment at Lightsey Bridge. One of our roomates was a potluck pick and ended up being a "pharmaceutical supplier." Anyway, Bussie would come over at weird hours. One of his famous quotes from his time spent there was "I ain't scared to shoot a man."
Guy scared the crap out of me.

One day Ford was all over Bussie's a$$ for something. Ended up getting face to face with him and screaming his head off at Bussie. Bussie started shaking because he was so pi$$ed and wanted to clock Ford so bad, but was smart enough to know he would be done at Clemson if he did. Had to be held back by a couple of teammates.
