So NCST is going to come out with the opposite Defense!

Sounds like that's all the defenses have to do to confuse CTE. Even Dabo has made the statement that the defense was opposite. I guess every team for the rest of the schedule will just play a different defensive scheme than their norm and we won't adjust. CTE will explain that they changed their scheme therefore we shouldn't expect to score.

I am shocked by our coaches that they have said that as an excuse for not playing well multiple times now. I think this makes them sound very inept at adjustments during the game. I thought every defensive coach's scheme was to gameplan a team specific plan therefore offensive coaches should expect different looks. I guess I was totally wrong about how coaching worked?

Their excuses sound very amateur to say the least. While Saban hires coaches like Doug Marrone and Bill O'Brien, both recent NFL coaches as offensive line and OC. More experience in those two then our entire offensive staff then add Saban. No wonder there is little dropoff annually.

If NC State does anything a little different, it will, most likely, be putting "8 in the box" to stop our running game. As our passing game has been somewhat puny, I think they will try to put pressure on DG, and hope he doesn't improve on what we have seen so far. That is what I would do.

Now, I expect we will begin to show what kind of team we are. State is going down big time!

No question that there will be pressure on DJ. He hasn’t handled it yet but maybe this game,!!!!! States defense is better than GT and we didn’t do much against them. I really think we will see DJHollywood tuck it and run Saturday. That’s what I would do!

Scott Frost got crushed for saying the same thing about the Illinois game, singing to the effect they had to throw out the game plan because of the way they lined up.

It’s an embarrassing excuse for our coaches, all we hear about is preparation and how detailed and thorough we are in every aspect of the program and game prep…. Guess not and prepared as we like to think we are, oh well.
