As a kid, I always loved visiting my great-aunt. She was always thankful. Whenever I asked her about something that she didn’t have or something that she might want, her response was always the same: “I’m just thankful for what I have.”

As I grew up, she grew older. Her health declined. But she still kept a smile at all times. And she still stayed thankful. She was a special, special lady!! Thank you, Aunt Alvis, for a lesson that has made a huge difference in my own life!! It’s been decades, but I still think of her every Thanksgiving in particular.

Personally, I have much for which to be thankful, including my family and my family’s health. I also love what I do. God has given me far, far more than I deserve!!!!

But as a Clemson fan, I want to say how thankful I am for TigerNet and for my fellow TNetters. I love having a place for Clemson fans to congregate. Ultimately it is about the people. You all make TNetting a lot of fun!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving (a day early) to my fellow TNetters!!!!

I too have a lot to be thankful for, and I am.
Things are always good, and bad, and changing. If not, we would be unable to tell when things are good or bad.
I endeavor to abide.

To steal a line from you - "Happy Thanksgiving (a day early) to my fellow TNetters!!!!"

Great message and Happy Thanksgiving to you. This week can be tough for a lot of folks. I lost my Dad the day after Thanksgiving in 2014. Friday it will be 10 years. My Mom is 89, living alone, and having some challenges. I'm in the process of moving her closer to me and looking for the right assisted living situation.

I am thankful for two wonderful parents and the values and morals they instilled. They were the best role models and led by example. I have tried to be the same for my family and God has blessed us with more than we deserve.

I too wish everyone a wonderful thanksgiving and hope you all find something to be grateful for. I'd be very grateful for a win against the coots on Saturday ;)

Go Tigers!

I don't recall last Thanksgiving, but yet here I am again. As I approach the one year anniversary of my surgery, this Thanksgiving I will remember.

It's good to be alive, both to give thanks, and to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

CB all these folks that has responded to your post I would bet that they have a good heart and that's a good way to be. But Now I would like for them to do something that's really good for their hearts, and that is to look in their food pantry and bag up all those can goods that have been in there for a while and take them to the food bank or to a food bank drop off. Most of what folks give to places like that, it goes to help feed children that that their parents don't have much money to feed their kids with, and everything that you can afford to give will make you feel really good about yourself knowing that you've done something to help keep a child from going to bed hungry at night. Happy Thanksgiving to all, especially to those that will help folks much worse off than they've ever been...
