So, it came down to FSUs QB being hurt. They played their 3rd string QB

against the #14 team in the country for a conference championship and won.
THEY HAD MORE TOTAL OFFENSIVE YARDS THAN MICHIGAN DID in their Championship game.
Being undefeated means something and it’s a TEAM sport. One player isn’t bigger than the team. When Deshaun was out for the 2014 bowl game, Cole freaking Stoudt ran an Oklahoma Sooners team off the dang field, 40-6.
I hate FSU as much as anybody, but right is right. They got hosed. Hard to say all of this because of their chicken sh head coach.

Getting penalized for opting for player safety and sitting their 2nd string QB.
I think they expected UGA to win so when that didn't happen, the narrative switched to the missing player criteria.
Had FSU done what a lot of teams would have done and played their backup QB and won by 30, they still would have made the same choice, because reasons (SEC ones). UGA wasn't supposed to lose.

Totally agree. College football lost today. And next year will be worse because the rankings will be so skewed as they always are. Just look at the rankings now, the NY 6 bowls.
