Going into the year I expected at least an all right season, maybe get to the tournament. But obviously we did how we did and I find myself in the same state of mind that I am in after every year. Hopes were pushed to the top, and hell I even though we were in the tournament.

Also I thought it may be fine if we didn’t do well, and we move on. I didn’t expect to not both not make the tournament along with Brad not getting fired. I could’ve sworn this was the year for him to prove he could get us there. Yes we should’ve been in, but we didn’t make it. And there’s reason for it just as much as there are reasons to get in.

I would pity any coach who came in knowing 23-10 and a 3rd seed in the ACC Tournament would get you fired. Great decision by our AD.

3 NCAAT bids in 13 years is apparently good enough to get you a 14th season at Clemson. It should be clear to any new basketball coach that our patience is high and our expectations are low.
