Dude...you are way underestimating this loss. I knew Mitch would be contributing at some point, but now we're going into day one trusting a true fresh to protect our most valuable player's blind side. Not good.

I am not saying anything about true freshman, we will move bodies around and figure it out. This would have been a bigger hit after camp.

itself this year. It is compounded by the amount of attrition there. You never want to be in the position of starting true freshmen on the OL regardless of the talent. It's a position needing physical and mental maturity.

The two prior years we only signed 2. Crowder and Falcinelli look like they may be hits, Hearn and Morris...meh. Not a single OT in the group

Maybe I'm ignorant (wife thinks I am) but all I've seen is posters saying "Battle's gone" without even a hint at why, what for, or an indication of source. So is he gone or not?
