I am contemplating doing road trips to Louisville/Bourbon Trail and Boston this year. I need any recommendations that would make either trip more interesting.
I am certain that one recommendation will be to avoid crossing the dates between the two. So, got that one.

We are definitely doing the Lvl Bourbon trip. We have been the last two times

that we played there and it's fantastic. I think we did 3 tours each year, spread over a couple days. Haven't had a bad one yet. Check the websites of the ones you want to go to now and see when tickets are open, they sell out quick.
VRBO in town was great, it's a fun town and lots of good places to eat.
We've been to:

Buffalo Trace
Angels Envy
Wilderness Trail
Peerless
