That probably included deporting them for soft crimes so it was blocked. If it were just sex crimes I would imagine it would go through.

I read why. They are claiming that the victims who are undocumented won't report the crime due to deportation worries. That's interesting. I don't know what to think.

That's already happening which is why all the assertions that illegals commit fewer crimes than the rest of us is BS. However if an illegal is found guilty of a crime of this nature its hard to defend the lefts absolute refusal to consider deporting even one of them.

They think it will make it worse apparently and that it will never be deported etc. Maybe they are also worried about false claims etc. They see it as a mess. On the surface it sounds ridiculous, but I would like to know more. As far as illegals committing less or more crime, it's like you alluded to. There is no way to know for sure because they don't report it as often. My guess is that they are cautious and commit less crime. Like you said though, we will never know.

I should have said that they think it will make it worse out of the fear of being deported in that first sentence.
