In the “HEARTBREAKER” race today which began at 5am this morn!

Talk about chilly temps there..it was only 41* here in warm SAV!

If interested there is a live tracking site (live.enabledtracking.com) and Will is #237.

PS: if you remember he’s run the same general Piscah Forest mountain range last two years in the grueling 100K HELLBENDER which last 2 days or 40 hours cut-off where these mountains are the highest on this side of the Rockies.

He’s had trouble doing these along with one in Calif and completing them in decent times the last 2-3 years due to age (55 next week) and having Covid several times along with suspected long-Covid..IMO.

So proud of my Son especially since I feel accomplished if I average 5000 steps a day while he runs most every day of the week for 5-20 miles to keep in competitive shape.

How does he have any Joints that are Operational? If I remember correctly, Baby Bulb is in his 50’s. Kudos to your Son! That is a BRUTAL Race!!!!

Which is about halfway..and he took a sec to send me a short video of the surrounding mountain ridges from top of one he was on and noticed the wind was really blowing the trees around him.
