Is there anything more childish than benches clearing brawls

in any sport like the one in Cincinnati yesterday? A bunch of
grown men, spoiled millionaires with oversized egos, run out on
the field and act like a bunch of teenage hormone-driven idiots
who want to beat each other up like kids. I think every player
that leaves the dugout should be fined and that should also include
every player that leaves the bench in a basketball brawl and every
player that leaves the sideline in a football fight.
I personally think that the brawl in the Clemson- South Carolina
game in 2004 was a proverbial black eye and it happened at DV.
That was probably worse than any bad loss that we've had. That's
not who we are. It's like Dabo said - we win with class and we
lose with class. And btw, I hope the next time we lose, we don't
make a bunch of excuses like you know who.

Second, the Pirates had it coming for throwing at players' heads
Third, Amir Garrett running at the Pirates to fight the entire team by himself was awesome
Fourth, Puig running to the fight after he had already been traded earlier in the night was awesome
Fifth, David Bell running out of the clubhouse after being ejected earlier in the game to join in the fight was awesome
Sixth, I can't wait for the Reds to beat the hayull out of the Braves next

Uof5c was a rogue undisciplined team that came into the game looking to start a fight, so Clemson accommodated them by kicking their a$$es on and off the field.

short anecdote about "The Brawl"

The seats the Boss and I had for years in South Stands were next to two seats that a businessman used to give tix to customers. At one point during the "Brawl" game, there was am incredibly obvious personal foul by usuck in the first quarter that went uncalled. I immediately jumped to my feet yelling at the officials.....one of the two visitors using the seats next to us finally looked at me and said:"They just need to let the players resolve the issues on the field". I responded by telling him normally I'd agree, but NOT in this game.
Not very long afterwards, the fight erupted and bad behavior ruled the day (even though the chickens started it)
I soon turned, looked at the guy and said "This is the reason why this game needs to be controlled"
