Before they go somewhere, they message their virtual internet friends who live in that town for restaurant recommendations, to help prevent them from dropping $150 on soul-less Applebee’s quality food at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey River.

went there with work about 4 years ago and thought it sucked too much for the price. Left there this weekend thinking the same thing, although the food was better than the first time.
Wasn't our choice to go there.

out at a restaurant that warrants the price. It is really hard for Wifeof and I to go out because it pisses me off every time we get the bill. A nice dinner out and a babysitter will cost us north of $150. I can almost feed the family for a week for that. I've got the money (sometimes) but dang that perspective is hard to balance in my head.

We eat out at restaurants WAY too much strictly for the mere convenience factor, then I look at my bank statement and I'm like Holy Shid. Going to be eating at home all week this week (well, except for tonight of course, lol).

for Saturday brunch. It is one of the only meals I consider a win. The kids eat well, I get a good healthy-ish omelette (eggs, peppers, onions, chicken, no cheese, add hot sauce) and some decent coffee, and the people are USUALLY friendly. 10% discount for school employees which I more than make up for with the tip.
Could I make it cheaper at home? Certainly. Do I want to make sausage, waffles, french toast, omelettes, and coffee at home? No.

That was a bit of a hidden jewel. Aside from Palmetto Seafood, York County has really sort of become a seafood wasteland. We do have two new places coming though. This place is going in the old White Horse location on Camden Ave: https://www.fierycrab.com/ and this place is going in the old Mayflower Seafood location on 161: https://www.crazycrabseafood.com/
We'll see how it turns out.

hole in the wall joints on the regular lately. Last time we ordered Dominoes it was like $35....And it was total shid. I would have rather had bagel bites.
We've got a couple of hidden gems in Anderson that still are priced reasonably, but have really good food and aren't chain restaurants. I'll tell you one place I'll NEVER go back to, and that's Outback. Last time we went I feel like I got Jussie Smolletted. The bread they bring out when you first sit down was the best part.
