Serious SEC basketball question

ESPN is showing that the SEC might get 14 teams in. All I keep hearing is how great the conference is. My question is how do they know the conference is so great if they just keep playing each other? They very well might be that good just 14 teams seems a little outrageous

To be fair to them, they dominated most of their non-conference opponents

It will be like big 12 last year, when they games the system and got a lot of teams in. Yes there are some elite sec teams that can win it all like auburn and Florida but I’m not impressed by there bubble teams that’s have gone like 5-10 league play. Go Tigers!!

We may have plenty of chances to prove them wrong. Could be playing an SEC team in about every round of the tourney.
