he's already pretty close to a zero in pass coverage in college, and it would be much, much worse in the NFL. He's too small to play MLB in the league, and OLB is out of the question.
Waiting for somebody to reference his 2 INTs in 2 bowl games vs OU to "prove" he's not a zero in pass coverage...

Carter and Baker in the secondary also - a lot depends on breakthrough seasons that may lie ahead for many of the third-years you listed.

Will probably get a shot as a Free Agent and have a chance to make it by playing special teams. He will get a chance based on productivity and instincts.

It wouldn't surprise me any more than TJ Green's recent rise, plus Johnson didn't redshirt so his timing might be about right for him to grow into a more reliable player.
