Reports on gamecockcental is that he is wanting over 500 thousand, if that’s all it’s gonna take for the #1 RB in the class and former 5 star then I’m sure anybody would sign up for that. Paying adam Randall and trying to make him into a RB instead of getting a legit RB doesn’t seem like the best option but will see how much Gideon Davidson will be worth more if he has any type of success but Clemson shouldn’t pay up for a RB right?

Nobody can predict the future of what a player is going to do and in todays age it doesn’t matter if a player has a solid year or bad year they will have the option to jump into the portal for more money, more playing time, or better fit. So coaches have to recruit their own players after each season and with a salary cap coming to college football you can manage players for a year and that’s it u can promise him nothing past a year that’s y I believe duke made a mistake by signing a guy for 8 million over 2 years when he can take his things and leave at any point

That is a really dumb statement. The players are the ones choosing to leave, and the “masters” (in your context) are begging them to stay. By trying to bid higher than the next “master”
