This is the problem. 9 SEC teams ranked almost entirely based on beating each other. Clemson beat two of those teams and loses credibility.

Catching up on tnet. I'm not sure why you are bringing up the acc. I know People have been preaching 5 SEC teams should get bids so I get why the op mentioned the sec bias.
Is some 1 making a claim that 5 ACC teams deserve to be in the playoffs?

We will find out a lot on rivalry weekend. Right now we have pre season assumptions and talent rankings driving the selection process. I’m not saying the SEC isn’t better. Im saying based on outcomes this season you can’t prove it. Especially a strong enough argument that 9 teams should be ranked.
