No official media release yet, but it's already been posted on clemsontigers.com if you look: https://clemsontigers.com/sports/womens-soccer/schedule/season/2025/
I've noticed they tend to do that sometimes. Anyway, here it is:

Alabama 8/4 scrimmage
@ Tennessee 8/9 scrimmage
@ Ohio State 8/14
@ Ohio 8/17
@ Virginia Tech 8/21
South Carolina 8/28
App State 8/31
Charlotte 9/4
Georgia 9/7
Stanford 9/11
Cal 9/14
@ Louisville 9/19
Virginia 9/25
Notre Dame 9/28
@ Syracuse 10/5
@ SMU 10/9
Wake 10/16
@ BC 10/24
@ Duke 10/30

...boy. Last year's was a little strange. This one might be even weirder. 3 straight road games to open the season, followed by 6, count 'em, SIX straight home games. There's 9 home games total, and 8 of them all come in the same 9-game stretch, only interrupted by a road match at Louisville. I noticed Stanford and Cal are in that home stretch; perhaps this is partially because of scheduling difficulties with the expanded conference.

Either way, this is not an easy schedule. The SEC scrimmages should be fun, and they might offer us some real preseason insight against good competition. Opening at Ohio State will be difficult. They were a 3-seed in the tournament last year, and they beat and played competitively against several teams that gave Clemson a lot of trouble, like Auburn, Duke, etc. So there's no easing the young group into it; they're gonna get thrown right into the fire. Playing at Ohio next is the ultimate "trap game" if you believe in such things. Then it's on the road to conference foe Virginia Tech, who beat the Tigers at Riggs last year. They were a perineal cellar-dweller prior to last season, but they really turned things around, finishing 5th in the ACC and making it to the elite 8 by upsetting UCLA and Iowa. That's a tough road stretch to open the season.

Then they come back for the giant home stand at Riggs, starting out with South Carolina. Say what you will, but that one certainly won't be easy. They've tied each of the last 3 years. The chickens have been a consistently good team over the last several seasons, led by their own crop of young talent featuring Katie Shea Collins. That game should be a good one, and it'll be a great way to start up the Palmetto Series at Riggs. After that, they get 2 mid-majors at home, but it should be remembered that Charlotte held the Tigers to a scoreless tie in North Carolina last season.

We all remember the 2 tight games against Georgia from the '23 season, one of which was a tie in Athens in the regular season, the other of which was also a tie, but which the Tigers won 5-3 on penalties at Riggs to advance to the elite 8 en route to their 1st ever college cup. The Dogs did endure a coaching change before last season, which set them back a bit. (And which resulted in them loosing Castenfelt and Brathwaite to us, so thank you UGA!) But they actually still salvaged a decent season, playing close against good teams, finishing with a winning record, going .500 in the SEC, and making the NCAA tournament. And now they've reinforced with more freshmen and portal players, so you know that game's gonna be difficult, even at home.

And then ACC play starts. Stanford is always a great team. They might've had a mediocre season last year by their standards, but that's another big-time matchup right out of the gate at home. Next it's Cal; not an elite team, but a good one, who made the tournament and finished above .500 in the league last year. Louisville isn't a good team, but that won't be easy on the road. They tied Clemson 0-0 last year in the final game at Riggs. Then it's back home against Virginia, another good team who made the tournament a year ago as a 4-seed and beat the Tigers 1-0 in Charlottesville. Next up is Notre Dame, who went to the elite 8 last season.

Clemson goes to Syracuse, but that team is quite bad, and that one certainly needs to be a win. SMU didn't have a good season last year, as they struggled to adapt to the ACC. But they have been a good team previously in recent years, and I would expect them to rebound at least some this season. So that game won't be easy, especially on the road. Then it's back home to take on Wake Forest, who were national championship runners-up last season. Need I say more? Boston College isn't great, but they improved significantly last season, managing to go .500 in the ACC. The Tigers did beat them 2-0 at Riggs, but that one won't be as easy as it used to be, especially on the road.

The last game is at Duke, who made it to the college cup last year and beat Clemson 3-1 at Riggs. They are replacing their long-time head coach with one of their assistants, but he's a highly acclaimed guy, and their momentum doesn't look to be slowing down at all. If anything, they might even be better. So, yeah...that's it. I think it might be even more difficult than I realized before writing this analysis. This Clemson team is bringing in a ton of talented freshmen and returning a few key veterans, so the potential should be there. The question is going to be how quickly they can grow up and gel however, because there's just not much easy about this schedule. It kind of reminds me of this year's softball team. It could be a wild ride, but at the very least it should certainly be entertaining. Strength of schedule sure won't be a problem. I've been looking forward to this season for a while now, but this will be a test!

I didn't know Alabama and Tennessee had womens soccer programs. I know they don't have a varsity mens program like a lot of SEC schools don't. SC and Kentucky park their mens program in Conference USA or the Sunbelt believe.

Yeah, for men's soccer it's just Kentucky and SC, and as you said, they actually compete in the Sunbelt because the SEC doesn't even officially recognize men's soccer. But they do for women's, and all 16 schools have programs.
