For those of you who are busy or otherwise have a life outside of internet rumors (which I clearly don't have),...
I'll save you the problem of surfing the net.
The big rumors today on the internet are -
1. AZ to Big 12 2. FSU and Clemson to B1G

3. Washington and Oregon to the BIG, as well.
We know Huskies can adapt really well to cold weather, as well as ducks.
Them plucking Clemson and FSU out of the South, and making serious inroads into SEC country, would be much the bigger story, I think.
The fact that there has been zero pushback from the SEC against these rumors pretty much confirms to me that the SEC is happy with their TV footprint, and doesn't care about adding us as members, since we would do nothing to increase that footprint. So, we should be happy and RELIEVED that at least ONE major conference DOES seem willing to throw us a lifeline.

outside of the Dabo years, Clemson would not add much to SEC. We bring a lot more to the B1G, especially if FSU comes at same time.

.... I didn't see a bunch of stories on that.
Just wait. When Wednesday comes and FSU and Clemson did not announce on Tuesday they were leaving for B1G the rumor will probably be "Oregon and Washington are top picks for B1G." Then the story will explain that the B1G won't invite FSU and Clemson until after they get Oregon and Washington.

What if Clemson and FSU announce a commitment to the B1G?

And the B1g announces that we have a slot awaiting once the GOR is settled.
This would effectively end the ACC. Other schools would have to start looking for a landing spot. The conferences could start picking up ACC schools, holding spots, with the knowledge that GOR has to be worked out.
Once a total of 8 teams find new homes, we could dissolve the conference.
We also know that we have a landing spot, even if it isn't until 2035.
