Seems to be a lot of angst for where Clemson will end up....

Would you rather have a...
1) Series against Alabama, LSU and Georgia regularly
OR
2) Series against Ohio St, Michigan and Penn State regularly
Seems like that is what everyone is trying to figure out here. For me personally, bring on the Tide, Fake Tigers and Dawgs year in and year out. We have much more in common with them then the northern schools.
Just my $0.02.

Just one thing to consider: $EC doesn't have men's soccer or lacrosse.......the BIG does.
Got to look at all the moving parts. That's just my $0.02 worth.

program to add it. Takes 5 for autobid to NCAA - UK and USC have mens soccer, UF and Vandy have women's lacrosse. Have a feeling other existing schools are going to add lacrosse soon. I imagine there is a school or 2 in the SEC that have been on the fence about starting one and this may sway them. FSU also could add 1 or either if they go to the SEC. Rowing might be the program without a home in the SEC.

Geographically, the SEC makes more sense, but in the end

The revenue needed to allow us to continue to be competitive at the top level of multiple sports is what matters. So what ends up being best for Clemson as an athletic program that’s what makes me the happiest.

Take geography out of the equation and Clemson is a better fir for the B10.

Well, for fans who like to travel to road games and student athletes who need to travel for competition, GEOGRAPHY matters.
Culture matters too and culturally we have much more in common with Auburn than with Minnesota and Rutgers.

Student athletes are no longer a thing. They are athletic students. That said, bring on the SEC, would be a lot of fun.

Yea. Whatever you wish to call them if you don’t like some of them making money through NIL.
I just prefer the young women and men who represent Clemson and wear the Paw to need to travel less.
I can’t imagine what the UCLA and USC teams will soon experience. It will be more travel for them than for pro teams bc at least pro teams are mostly geographically aligned. For them will be like the 1966-1993 Atlanta Braves in the NL West.

Unfortunately it probably won't be year in and year out...

I think we've played Bama more often than SCAR in the last 10-20 years.
