who were #1 for 2+ years, undefeated for 29 straight games, 2-time Natty Champs..
and they are sitting home like every other team without a chance for a Natty, except for 4.

Look at the schedule, the DAWGs play this year , ( That was a Joke) who did they beat
This Year., The Only team they had trouble all year was Missouri , and they where not

I’m not so sure FSU’s SOS was as good as Georgia. LSU was 9-3. Clemson 8-4, worst team in 13 years. As painful to say as that is, it’s true. Georgia played a tougher slate of games. Georgia was/is better than FSU.

Sad to say UGA actually has 4 including the 1942 season while many such as most of our guys were at war.
Lets give them an L in ATL to start next season to make sure they stay at 4 and we can move on up.

The SEC screwed UGA and their SOS before the season began when they made them cancel the OU game and replace them with a third noncon cupcake game when they already had a weak conference schedule this year. Meanwhile OU and Texas ended up not joining the SEC this year but the Bama-Texas return game was allowed to continue.

With 4 teams in the playoffs, one team per conference should be the limit.

Disagree. The committee almost got it right. If Georgia and Bama were in the four we would see a rematch because they are the best two in the country. Texas might have something to say about that, though, because they have really came on.
What if Louisville won their conference? How many SEC teams would beat them? Five? Six? How many B1G? Three? Four? Five? There would be multiple teams from the P2 that would beat FSU as well.
I don't know. How do you prevent lesser quality conference champs from getting in? Have a minimum quantity of top 20 teams you had to play to be considered. What - five? Six? If you go 12-0 and have such an easy schedule or watered down conference and don't meet the minimum then one shouldn't get in the playoffs. You fellows may have a stout conference and the B1G or SEC falls off and the ACC may have three or four teams that could beat either of the P2's champ. See why it would be unfair for either P2 team to walk right in when you had better teams and played a much harder schedule?
You can feel sorry for FSU all you want but Bobby Bowden convinced FSU not to go to the SEC back in the 90's when they had their invite. He publically stated, twice, it would be crazy to go over there and play a schedule like that. He wanted a basketball conference where he could have all kinds of wins with very little competition every year.
