The wind ~10mph blowing in, kept a fly ball by Logoleo in the park and Maddie earned a walk and stole a base . . . but nothing else exciting happened.

In the 3rd, Davenport ground out to the pitcher. Miklesh with a walk. Clark put a drive into one, but the wind knocked it down just shy of the warning track. Cagle with a single to left with Miklesh on the run; close play at the plate, but Miklesh slid in under the tag. Cagle advanced to 2nd on the throw. Jacobsen then singled up the middle scoring Cagle. The throw to the plate was cut off, and Jacobsen was thrown out trying to reach 2nd.

As Miklesh scores from first on a single by Cagle . . . Cagle took second on the throw home . . . Then Jacobsen singled up the middle to score Valerie. Our first two hits of the game.
Kudos to Winthrop’s starter, Bassinger (?), for keeping us off balance . . .

No she didn't skeeta56. We're in a horrendous slump for the last month +. Every pitcher has kept most of our line-up off balance.
I got a case of the sads. Outside of Val, we can't hit. She's tge only one that imo is seeing the softball. Our other batters are guessing. Reminds me too much of Monte and his launch angles bs.
I went back and reviewed the box scores from March 10th. If you do, your stomach will turn. We hit better last year. We were hitting good to start our first 15 games. True, we have hit good against mercer etc etc. But our league play. Wow. Certainly every team will have off games. Sadly, ours is not just a one off.
Our stats are magnified by very weak teams and weak pitching. I hate it but honestly, just keeping it real.
