What a game the young man had! Cannot believe the improvement he's made year-over-year. He's my POTG.
Way to go Tigers! No way we miss the tourney now.

He’s been good, but also showed flashes last year. We were just playing him out of position in place of Middlebrooks at the 5 and this was before the PJ injury.
He needs to become a consistent shooter and drop some body fat and he’s going to be great one.

Yep. His stats were actually better than PJ’s. Both had 15 points and Schieff had more rebounds and a better shooting percentage. 6/8 shooting including 3/3 on 3 pointers. And zero fouls. No slight at all to PJ. Schieff just showed how much he can contribute tonight.

Yup. Earlier in the year he was a great addition because he could put the ball on the floor and was a good passer, but he could not seem to go to the hoop without getting stuffed or getting the ball batted. Last few games he has gotten under the long arms for some lay ins, a few dunks and popping some outside, even threes. Keeps the other teams off balance with two serviceable big me that are decent ball handlers

Like Sampson, I believe his power is his hair ("The Mop"). Don't let anyone with scissors anywhere near him.

Almost all of our players show improvement. Many of them are significantly improved.

Agreed. He’s eclipsed just being a physical presence and finds the basket or the free throw line more often than not now. Always a great effort from him.

He was 6-8 from the field in total. No fouls. 6 rebounds and only 1 turnover. Very efficient game.
