Plenty of folks on the left hate this stuff and wish they would focus on things that matter to normal people, but the Dems would rather lose elections than let someone like Bernie get the nomination. This stuff just divides and distracts people while billionaires loot the country.

the Democrats pick to run their Party's processes and develops their policy positions that ultimately is put forth as their platform.
The Yin and Yang of American politics needs good countering ideas from both Party's to produce the best results for the country. Unfortunately, the DNC seems to be captured with nonsensical idiocy and virtue signalling to the point most in America believe them to be completely bonkers.
The DNC doubling down on the crazy radical left approach to governance is not helpful to our American political system.

As an aside: The Dems shouldn't stop caring about the things they care about (just to get elected). But they should be more aware which issues get seen as their main priorities.

MAGA is just as much into identity politics and cultural war crap as progressives/liberals (if not more considering they have little to no stated platform) but they are MUCH better at messaging. To the point that they even influence what people think the progressive/liberal issues are and how important those issues are to progressives/liberals. You see it on this board where even other so-called democrats are heavily influenced to think a certain way about "woke" issues and how important those issues are to democrats when in reality they are often niche issues that very few care about. You'll have stuff like in that video with the dems simply because of how big a tent they try to have where they try to include everyone, which makes it easy to mock by the other more "small tent" party.
As for Asmongold, he's an incredibly popular and influential streamer who is a complete weirdo. He is a great example of where our country is right now.
