Apopka qb hurt on big but clean hit. was not moving on the sideline for a while. hopefully not as serious as it looked.

Hope he is ok.
Teaching point: If your a QB go out of bounds and protect your body. No reason to take the hit right there.
Still hope he is ok. Looked like his head hit the turf pretty hard.

yeah I agree. the fact is it is a clean hit. all the rules and stuff would not stop that only the qb getting down or out of bounds.
latest reports are sounding better about him being concious and all

I stopped watching it late, but I saw on CFB show that they airlifted him to Spartanburg Regional---he was awake & moving though.

Definitely praying he is okay. He had been taken out of the game earlier in the first half and was assessed on the sidelines for what looked like a possible concussion - he walked very slowly off the field with his head down after an awkward hit - also read he had suffered a concussion earlier in the Summer.
