We've had reservations since last year. Timing seems to have been perfect.
Canoeing with the wife and Shepherd... Yak fishing... Hopefully plenty of sun.
Solid week of doing whatever...

I fished out of a canoe for three years. It was a nice wide 14 footer but it would still get you wet. What I love most about it and the 12' johnboat was the way a 5lb bass would turn the boat around. I used 6lb line and a small bait with almost no weight and set my drag so fish couldn't snap the line.
My son dragged a 8 lb 9 oz bass out of the water using that setup in a 12' flat bottom boat. I put that fish on the wall. It was the only fish I ever had mounted.
It doesn't look like this project car is going to allow me to fish this year. Maybe this fall.
