Backing into the ACCCG is a joke. Lost to every team we played with a pulse. An ACC Championship isn’t worth crap. Sorry, but you know it’s true.

Look around! Almost every team in college football sucks.
Georgia needed 8 overtimes to beat freaking Georgia Tech.
Helll, the coots are threatening to play for a National Championship in football .....that alone should tell you how bad the field is..
The playoffs will be littered with 2 and 3 loss teams and Clemson has as good of shot as anyone of winning it all.

Tell that the players that grind every day before the the sun comes up. To the ones that put in the blood, sweat, and tears day in and day put to get to that game. Most years a 7-1 conference record will get you in the ACCCG. This year it did. We can't control the sched. Played badly against 1 conf foe that played perfectly for the lone loss. Those players absolutely deserve any trophy they could win.

That part is frustrating and disappointing. You're free to focus on that if you want, but that's not the whole story.
As of today, we were ranked #12 in the country. Sure, that will change after today's loss, and no, it's not as good as being #1, but it's pretty dang good. 9-3 isn't as good as 12-0, but it's pretty dang good. We're not elite, we play poorly at times, and we aren't the eye candy we were around our NC years, but we're pretty dang good.
If you are this miserable and negative with that, I truly feel bad for you. We all want to be better, and be elite again. Personally, I'm able to handle less than perfection, some downright maddening frustration, and enjoy the high spots while riding out the rough ones, having faith things will improve. And if they don't, hey, we're still Clemson, and we're pretty dang good! I wish the same for you.

We didn’t back in. We played our 8 games and went 7-1 and they went 6-2. We played and finished our conference season earlier. Go Tigers beat the ponies!
