...but last night Clemson Football went up against Texas oil money which is
making the most of portal-NIL loop holes, in their house with 100K fans,
without Clemson's best two running backs and competed.
The game was closer than the final score.
If Texas didn't have their best two backs and Clemson had our starters...different game.
There were clearly some things Clemson could have done better
but they also made some great plays.
No teams have depth with NIL/portal. I expect no team will dominate in the NIL-portal era.
Dabo is playing the long game. He is not stubborn, he has values that he will not compromise.
I would have a hard time supporting a team with players who were committed only to money, not the team.

the game was actually worse than the final score.
Again.........we were 1-4 vs teams w/ a pulse (the one is in question after the Penn state game last night.......maybe they too were beneficiaries of an ATROCIOUS schedule)...............0-3 vs the SEC.............0-1 vs SOUTH CAROLINA (fans seem to have forgotten about the most important)
and back in our ELITE days losing by 14-points was not a moral victory.

...sounds like you have reading comprehension issues.
I'm very frustrated that we lost. But there plenty of teams that used the NIL-Portal extensively that are not in the playoffs.
Clemson was competitive when Texas had huge advantages.

at least not anymore.
From 2015-2020, yes.
But after the last half-decade? Nah, I'm taking positives where I can get them... including the offense finally performing against a top notch defense last night.

Agree with your sentiment but they also didn’t have their two best rbs…. One was hurt before the season whether you agree or not that it is up to you. I went to the game. They had size and speed at least we kept it mildly competitive in the second half. Our punting is a serious liability. Texas is a Tier 1 program today and Clemson is not today. We have 9 months until week 1. Go Tigers

They were up two touchdowns for most of the game. We brought it back to within 7 for all of about 1 minute. Never did it feel like Texas was going to lose after the opening drive.
