Their improved Oline had 11 false starts vs PURDUE.
And who outside of Lamar Jackson is a threat at running the ball?

Local TL Hanna's OL would probably look decent against Purdue and UNC. Their OL is about to get destroyed

8 or 9 games.
But not this weekend.
We have a defense that makes Hurricane Irma look like a sneeze.

Your defense was awesome last season, You held Lamar and Louisville to just under 600 yards and 100 plays from scrimmage, lol. I rank them up there with Syracuse and Marshall for "scary" to UofL fans.

This is one of the differences between Clemson fans and Louisville fans. Clemson fans are evaluating this year's Clemson team and this year's Louisville team when considering the game this weekend. Louisville fans are still rehashing last year's game as if it matters at all to what will happen this week.

I Don't Think So

You evaluate your defense by games against a cupcake and a Wooden Indian QB for Auburn. You completely ignore the most relevant issue which us that both of these teams - outside of their online fans, lol - respect each other from sheer familiarity. There will be seniors in this game to whom this Clemson game is their 4th. Certainly, that's the case with both sets of coaches. Disregarding the past - particularly the Lamar-led past, is an exercise in Hubris.
But please, remind us of how you will dominate just because and how disrespectful it is for posters to remind of your very gritty win last year.

Hubris? Coming from the guy predicting a 42-17 blowout on the L-ville boards that's hilarious.

BTW, guess I should mention if you take away ALL points that either team scored after a turnover...that half time score would have been close to the final score. 28-13. Clemson had 14 of 28 points in the first half from back and forth turnovers...Louisville had 23 of 26 points off of turnovers in the second half...while none of Clemson's 14 in the second half happened after a turnover.
14=14=28 10+3=13
So like I said...hope you were thankful for the turnovers...we didn't need them to win. You would have.

We also had 5 turnovers

That makes it a little easier to give up plays and points. You had one good quarter last year. In the first half you had 8 drives of 25 yards or less, several of which went for negative yards. Unfortunately for you your defense and o-line suck, so I wouldn't bank on holding the ball as much this year.

Yeah, glad that offense gave then those turnovers for 23 of your 26 second half points, right? Otherwise, it'd have looked abysmal.

I wonder if anyone even watched the UL - UNC game? Athlon has UNC (pre-season) at the number 42 team in the country and finishing 5th in the coastal. Yet UNC had a total chance to beat UL right up until they called a stupid play on 4th and 1 in the fourth quarter and kind of went downhill after that. UNC's D-line totally outplayed the UL O-line. Sure Jackson is going to score some points after his O-line totally collapses. And the refs will surely favor Louisville and call pass interference on us a lot. But I think BV will have a good plan to keep Jackson in the pocket as much as possible and our O will have a LOT more success than against Auburn's D. I think we will win by at least 14.

Add to that the fact that UNCheat's passing D was pitiful. Too many wide open receivers. I could have hit most of Jackson's completed passes to receivers that were so wide open.
