coaches through back channels as we speak. Sure, we may still catch fire and make the tournament, but if we don’t, he has to be prepared. It’s nothing personal, just business, but still not easy for the guy after all the sacrifices he made for CBB last year, I’m sure.

The clemson athletic leadership only knows about wasting money. Parking lot projects while not able have money to replace the track. A new lacrosse stadium when Riggs field is excellent. Waste money is what it is all about

I know. Recruits dont care about a parking lot. All they want now is NIL. So pour all the effort into NIL. Iptay wastes so much money.
Actually im almost at the point where the big10 and sec can just go have a pay for play league and everyone else can do college sports for student athletes.

IMO they are pretty close to being a pay for play league now. The NCAA should have used what power and influence they had to stop the disparity between the conferences. The SEC and Big 10 snubbed the NCAA and have done what they want.
NCAA is on life support with no brain activity. I say pull the plug !

They don’t know what it is to actually have to earn money like normal folks. When they need it they just ask legislature or have a giving campaign. Experts at playing on people’s sympathies to get them to give. Bad thing is it takes that much if you want to keep up nowadays With all the land they have I would rather have seen them go and build a women’s athletic campus somewhere and have them all in one area.

Francis Marion® ... Perhaps "predictably" would be the better adverb ...
Stopped watching Clemson Hoops ten yrs ago following a lifetime of love for college basketball and especially ACC basketball when it was 100% evident to me Brownell played a boring, uptight and choking brand of ball that would doom Clemson to failure every year. And yet, every year Clemson rinses and repeats with Brownell. And when it counts, he loses. Still, Linus waits every year in that pumpkin patch. To your post, hopefully Neff brings a coach with fire.

This is actually a good description- uptight brand of basketball. Brad doesn’t give his players freedom and micromanages every move to the point that players get nervous and choke.

What about Calipari as the next Clemson coach? He may be done at Kentucky. He can lose to a bad SC team just as good as Brownell.

That first-ever lacrosse game at Clemson. Unlike basketball, they won 23-1.

Unlike basketball maybe things will work out and CU will be known as a Lacrosse school.

in lacrosse. Not a single league title, no postseason, nothing. We've never even produced one single pro LAX'er - ever! Pretty much the same goes for softball.
We should all temper our expectations here and accept another 100 years of mediocrity at best ahead. It is the way.

And Neff just doubled down on him in an interview before the Miami game. Must feel really embarrassed and betrayed.

they will serve us up to the Tennessee Volunteers as a 15 seed, regardless of how we finish. I think we still have an excellent chance at this.
