I know many will not agree but, given the circumstances, this season could have easily been a 5-7 one just like SoCarolina but Dabo took ownership after the NCState game and the team responded. I've said all year that we didnt have enough Dawgs on this team but some did emerge in November - most of them were young Dawgs which is even better. We got tougher and thank the lord we stopped with the epic turnovers!
Now, we need a whole lot of work on the OL - we need some Dawgs there for sure - and we need help at WR but, all that being said, this team has the nucleus for something special in 2024 and I believe the trials and tribulations of 2023 will prove invaluable moving forward.

No, I’m happy for the W…but are people seriously saying that Saban has done a worse coaching job this year than Dabo because he struggled with Auburn on the road ? Alabama is playing in a championship game next week and still has a path to the playoffs….we have 4 losses and are between the Holiday and Gator Bowls

It’s his responsibility to “have the dawgs”, it’s our worst season since 2010, and 3rd straight year of an abysmal offense.
Crossing my fingers that Dabo does his best “off-season” coaching job of his career.

I’m looking forward to next year for sure. It’s hard to criticize the OC when he inherited the players and not allowed to bring his own coaches. A LOT of learning that just didn’t materialize as fast as we’d hope. I my opinion it is an entire offense issue. The Oline should improve, giving Cade more time to find wrs, open up running lanes. More time will also give wrs more time to hopefully stretch the field BUT the wr play MUST improve. Hopefully the commits are as advertised and will see the field or push the group to get better.
