Crazy what these kids think they’re entitled to and crazier that people are willing to give into their demands for the sake of winning a few football games.

According to NIL rules Saban is not supposed to have any input on what a kid is making in NIL.

Saban and Alabama are not allowed to "pay a kid before he earns it" and if a kid can find someone who will pay him 500K and also pay for his girlfriend to go to law school, then Saban is not supposed to be involved.

Note: I don't blame Saban. Every coach in the country is involved with NIL payments to recruits and to current students to some degree or another.

The NIL rules are a joke and no one is following them.

True, but Saban, Dabo and every other coach can sure decide not to offer a kid if he’s made aware or “senses” the kid is making these demands.

But, one of the players was not a recruit. It was a kid already on the team.

Yes, Saban could rescind his scholarship.

But, it both cases, Saban is not supposed to be able to make that decision based on the kid earning outside income.

And, remember, you and I agree. I don't think Saban did anything wrong. I'm just pointing out how ridiculous the NIL rules and lack of regulation of those rules are.

Talking to an OSU fan tonight and wondering how long some of these coaches will stay on. Going to be impossible to compete with the ones paying and a few of them do not want to run their program like that.
