Never gets old. Got to run down with my youngest son for his first game and with my pops. We won’t have a special year, but it will be fun to watch these guys grow and become a dangerous team to play (looking at you ND!)
Cade ain’t it yet, but he will be eventually. We all got spoiled with DW4 and TL16, they are mutants and not the norm. We are back to developing and getting better and we will. Just enjoy the year and let’s not get butt hurt and complain every week just because we won’t be in the playoff. Also, we got a shot to beat FSU, buckle up for a fun and unpredictable year.

If you think we have a shot at beating FSU and/or ND then what makes you think this Clemson team can’t make the CFP? If they win those 2 games there’s no reason why they can’t go 11-1 & secure an ACCCG seed. They win that game then they are in. Plus Clemson will have probably the best strength of record in the country.

After watching Cade, I think he’s about a year away. I think at times this year he will put it all together and look amazing (hence thinking we have a shot vs those two) but based on what we’ve seen, he wont consistently do that so I think we could have another game or two similar to Duke with a perfect storm of terrible outcomes. So that’s why I say that.

I guess I understand that but I believe his issues are easily fixable. Unlike Milroe for Bama who just simply lacked the ability to lead his offense

6-2 in the ACC is very likely at this point.
That will probably put us in the ACC-CG.
We could be pretty good by December and win another conference championship.

Fair assessment. That's a general vibe I'm getting too from watching CK2 that next year may be the breakout year and this one may be filled with more growing pains.
Like, watching HH come in yesterday you could sense the poise and control. CK2 doesn't give me that feel yet. Feels like game is still a little fast for him though the 2nd half version looked much better.
Of course, if he starts to catch fire starting next week and rides it out we won't be mad 🤞😂
