Rules question

I understand why there was no extra point attempt on Carter’s ends of game touchdown. The game was already decided and one pt affects nothing.
My question is this, if that td had put us up 21-20, would the extra point then be attempted? A blocked attempt returned for 2 pts could change the outcome.

Not sure of the official answer, but in the scenario you give only the dumbest of coaches would attempt the extra point with the risk of getting it blocked. I would think 99.9% of coaches would take a snap under center and kneel it.
