I got to know John Timmerman at St. Andrews Baptist Church in Columbia back in the early eighties. My wife//I were newlyweds but he treated us like his children. I remember him handing me his 1981 NC Ring to try on. He was a fine Christian and a wonderful man. I’m sorry to hear of his passing.
