Mike Waltz is a RINO. I never understood why Trump chose Waltz as National Security Advisor.
Proof that Waltz is a RINO is seen because of the Democrats’ attempts to blame Pete Hegseth for Signal Gate; Waltz (to the Democrats) represents a disappointing consolation prize to them.
Waltz is lying about his insistence that he ‘doesn’t know’ Atlantic magazine’s Jeff Goldberg. Waltz’s absurdly delayed excuses / attempts to downplay his role in Signal Gate are embarrassingly stupid. This is so weak that I wonder whether Waltz is trying to get himself canned by Trump.
As for Signal Gate itself, the absurd ‘war plans’ narrative gets weaker every day, despite the desperate attempts from the TDSer talking heads to keep it alive.

In terms of the security breaches, avoidance of federal records act, the amateur tone, and general stupidity, then just give it up...you have 0 reasonable perspective.
And as for the "war plans," exactly what do you think lessons the severity vs how it's being framed. I've yet to hear/see a single reasonable and experienced person in this area NOT think it was a big deal.

Regardless of how one perceives M.Waltz’s previous positions during his time as congressman, the fact that he clearly had a private relationship with lefty propagandist Jeff Goldberg should clue everyone into his two-faced-ness.
If Waltz had nothing Deep-Statist to hide because of his relationship with J.Goldberg, then why was he disavowing that relationship?

Donald Trump is not now, nor has he ever been, a ‘conservative’ as per the G.W.Bush or #### Cheney mold.
Neither is a doctrinaire ‘conservative’ crony capitalist re Mitt Romney / John McCain / M.McConnell type.
TDSers are too lazy to figure out that simple labels are no excuse for inattentiveness about what Trump is doing.
Despite all of the stupid talk from Bernie Sanders and the rest of the Democrats that Trump is all about the billionaires, they should (if they had either functional brains or honesty to speak the obvious truth) that Trump is trying to restore the manufactured goods supply chain to America.
Doing this will be painful in the short term, but enormously important to long term national security. Starting slowly back in the Clinton Admin, the outsourcing of America’s manufacturing economy increasingly picked up speed during GWBush’s admin and was at full throttle during Obama’s Admin. M.Romney, being a crony capitalist of the first order (and loyal sukkkup to billionaires … just like Obama and GW Bush) was all-in on outsourcing.
This outsourcing was great for the stock market, but harmful to America’s national security.
So, yeah, I don’t GAS about Trump and his not fitting into the traditional definition of a ‘conservative’ president.

Don’t worry, we’re all very aware that you and MAGA have no conservative views.
As far as “sucking up to billionaires”, 1. Conservatives and people who believe in market capitalism don’t bemoan wealth and 2. I don’t think this is a high ground that Trump cultists have terribly firm footing on compared to recent presidents.

Every single person with any time of clearance has said that that was clearly classified information and that they would be immediately fired if they had done something like that.
It absolutely sickens me that no one involved has stood up and said "The country deserves better, I resign". This wasn't a "gotcha". This wasn't some contrived case. They clearly did what they are accused of. They added a civilian to their Signal Chat about upcoming strikes on an enemy. Unforgiveable. They talked about the attack like it's a video game and they ONCE AGAIN expressed their complete disdain for long time allies. They expressed concerns that they had better get paid for this effort. The whole thing, soup to nuts, was embarrassing.
And what's their reaction? Lie. Lie, lie, lie. Shamelessly lie. "No confidential information was shared." Lie. "I don't know how his number got sucked into my phone." Lie. "I never met him." Lie. Bold faced, provable lies. For which there are no consequences.
Oh...sorry...not just lie. Also tantrums. Demean the journalist. Waltz even called him a loser. Trump says the Atlantic is a failing publication. Did anyone ask him about the financial viability of a magazine? No. They asked about the leak from his security cabinet.
The whole display is just so embarrassing. This past several months has been so embarrassing as a country.
