If we got a new coach and he thought a player did not fit his system it could very well happen here. I feel bad for the kid but the coach did not recruit him.

Yes, he is, and that's putting it kindly. Arrogant for no clear reason and not an especially good coach outside of what he did at UCONN. Gave Maryland four years of buyer's remorse.

Even being in CT, he is not overly admired. There was a ton of talk about how he just up and left UCONN. Fans are concerned where his loyalties lie, even though he did alot for UCONN the first time and brought it to a bowl.
Bob Diaco didn't have that fortune and was let go. Nice guy so they say but ineffective. SOOO Bring Edsall back and supposedly magic will happen for UCONN hahaha. Better coach and bigger name.
Unfortunately, the recruit was not Edsall's so I get the business side of it. But from a human perspective it sucks. It shows who Edsall really is.
The interesting piece is a coordinator left Auburn to come to UCONN. Could be interesting.
I could care less about UCONN football but at best, I see a 500 team for next year.
