Someone explain UGA only -24 vs Kentucky

Coots beat them worse than that and the coots are terrible. I dont see how Kentucky scores a point. This should be like a 50-0 score.

by as many points as they did. They were certainly less terrible than Kentucky and deserved to win, but that score line was misleading.
That said, I have no idea how Kentuckys offense is going to do anything against Georgia. Brock Vandagriff is absolutely terrible.

Lot of KY betters. Vegas does not set a line that predicts a score. Vegas sets a line that balances a book.

They arnt typically going to set a line thats going to be wildly offset from a realistic outcome, otherwise they wouldnt get that "balanced book".

Kentucky's pass defense or their pass offense.
When you can't complete a forward pass, that tends to narrow down the play selection options considerably, and it ain't too hard for the defense to stop the run when they know for sure that's all you're capable of doing.

That is correct, those places that take bets make their money from the fees they charge people to cover their bets win or lose. When they move the line up and down, they are wanting the betting to be as equal as possible for both teams!!!

The chickens controlled the line of scrimmage and lived in the UK backfield. Stewart and the guy that came from GT were unstoppable.
I’d take those two guys in a heart beat over what we have at edge with the exception of Woods who I think is a DT.

Earlier this week they were predicting a hurricane-like storm on Saturday night in Lexington. I just checked the forecast and it's looking pretty good now. Only a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Kirby has taken it easy on Stoops in the past though. Kirby respects him and last year was the first real blowout in a few years. UGA has only blown out UK once at Lexington since 2012. UK usually plays great in Lexington because of their physicality, but they don't have that so far this year.

Because it is the spread Vegas believes will get the same amount of money wagered on each team which is their goal. Has nothing to do with their belief on what will be the actual score.

UK will have a good game and I’d take the points. Hate playing teams the week after getting their noses rubbed in the dirt. Nothing focuses players(and coaches)like embarrassment the week before if they have any pride. I didn’t expect your game this weekend would be close for that very reason.
