Ridiculous statement on Atlanta sports talk station this....

afternoon.
I was listening to one of the sports talk radio stations on the way home this afternoon. Of course, 90% of what they were discussing was about Georgia football, Kirby Smart, etc.
And, of course, they talked about Jake Fromm and how he is one of the five best college QBs in the country. Starting, of course, with Tua and Bama.
They didn't even include Trevor in the group of five, no matter that everyone nationally I listen to seems to say that he's first or second best (between him and Tua).
It's unbelievable how these guys in Atlanta can't stand to give us/our players credit for anything, especially if they come from Georgia.

Yeah, living in ATL I'm tired of the lack of respect for our team and players generally exhibited on sports radio here. But #### how could anyone in their right mind not have TL either 1 or 2 in the country ; outside of the top 5? Homerism is the only explanation

Just like hearing Tony Barnhart(Mr. SEC) this afternoon. Talking about how quickly will Mullen have Florida at the level of UGA. Says is depends on how well they do recruiting vs UGA. No mention of Clemson getting some of the top players out of FL, no mention of FSU and Miami either. It's just all between FL and UGA!

Yea that’s obviously a huge homer move to jake fromm listed as a top 5 QB and not even have TL in the list. After the National title beat down ppl were writing articles asking if TL should sit out til he’s draft eligible and now he’s not a top 5 qb to these so called experts on the radio there in ATL. Just curious who were the other 3 QBs in the top 5 since 1 is Tua and another is fromm. Would love to hear who they put in there instead of TL ????. Go Tigers!!

I just don't see fromm beating bammer. He doesn't have the ability to extend plays-I don't think. He seems to be more of a pocket passer. UGAY only won the sec 2 years ago because alburn beat bammer for them.

If it's 92.9 The Game that station is terrible. Chuckery is the only one I can stomach. I know EVERY personality on 680 The Fan has said TL will be the #1 pick in the draft
Maybe they said who's draft eligible next round

The exclusion of TLaw is ridiculous, and quite unbelievable. Are you sure they weren't just discussing Draft eligible QBs?
On last year's evidence TLaw is so far ahead of any other College QB, that it's almost not fair.
As for Jake Fromm, I don't mind them discussing him alongside Tua Unpronounceable. Depending on their development and performance this season, one of them could easily be the first QB taken in next year's Draft. However, to rank them ahead of Trevor is outrageous.

I'm sure it's possible they were discussing draft eligible QBs or SEC QBs but it's so much more fun around here to advance the conspiracy narrative. You know how everyone is against Clemson....ESPN, virtually every CFB analysis not named Herbstreit, the Oprah Winfrey Channel. The list goes on and on. I don't know of one UGA fan who thinks Fromm is remotely as physically talented as Lawrence.

The ACC has won 2 of the last 3 Natty's in football.
In the last four years SEC and ACC teams have played each other 46 times. It's 23 - 23 between the leagues over those four years.
Bama owns the SEC. Everyone else sucks.
Bama has won 22 straight over Vandy.
Bama has won 12 straight over Arkansas and Tennessee
Bama has won 11 straight over Miss St
Bama has won 7 straight over LSU
Bama has won 6 straight over Florida and Kentucky and TAMU.
Bama has won 5 straight over Georgia.
Bama hasn't played Missouri much but has won 4 straight.
Bama has won 3 straight over Ole Miss.
Georgia is a 3 loss team and Fromm is a 3 loss QB
Reality sucks if you are an SEC fan. Atlanta should pay attention.

I too live in Georgia. Yesterday we had a company lunch for a retairing employee. The CEO made the following statement. "Jimmy was hired in 1981 and tomorrow will be his last day". Keep in mind I'm in a room full of DAWG fans. I blurted out, "we can add jimmy to the list". He replied, "what list"? I said, "Something else that has occured since Georgia has won a championship". Dude, that was priceless. Jimmy's not a DAWG fan. He loved it.
