Calling all grammar nazi's... need some help

My company is being relocated, so I'm interviewing for a new job. I'm thinking about my resignation letter and I need your help. What do you think? Break out the red pens.

Succinct, clear and to the point. Effective communication. Roll with it.

Resignation letters do not normally require a visual aid.

But, in this case, your visual aid does not require a resignation letter, it is kind of self explanatory.
ps, I would hesitate to use your former company as a reference once you send this letter. You are welcome.

And you might include an emoji after "have a nice day", but I'm nitpicking

That looks like written correspondence, not a T-net post

Don't be negative toward your current employer. None of us know what the future holds. And whether or not you list them as a reference, future employers will see them on your resume and possibly contact them. Always be professional. It does not have to be long. Something like:
I have enjoyed my time with (company name). I have accepted a job offer from another company and hereby tender my resignation effective (date). Best of luck in your move to (new city). Sincerely, (your name)

I realize some of us would offer suggestions that would be inappropriate so in a serious vein I would suggest your taking the high road because it will pay dividends down the road. You may have to stretch the truth a bit if you were not completely happy in your job. The loss of your job is the most important thing at the moment. Do not let anger cloud your response. Tell the company you enjoyed working for them and regret this decision to relocate affects your employment.
When you apply for a new job, those companies you interview will want to know your background and will, no doubt, contact your former employer. The content of a letter to your former employer will be an important factor in your future career. If there are others seeking the same job as you and all are equal on job experience, etc, a solid endorsement from a former employer can be the deciding factor.
Good luck and hang in there.

I hope you know I am only joking around with my original post. I definitely don't plan on anything other than a nice professional resignation letter because I certainly don't want to burn any bridges. I love this job and I hate to lose it since I've never been happier. That's why this stings so much. I'm already past the anger stage, but the thought of sliding that letter across the desk of my boss gave me a little chuckle last night since I know he'd actually appreciate the humor.
Anyway, like I said, I'm only joking around and would NEVER do that. Thanks Joe. =o)
